Check your Usage and Remaining Credits
Settings then Usage shows your credit balance, what is held for work in progress, an activity feed of the last 90 days, and on team accounts a breakdown of who spent what.
Last updated 1 day ago
Your balance is always visible in the top bar. For the detail behind it, open the Usage section of Settings.
Steps
- Select Settings in the top bar.
- Select Usage in the settings navigation.
In a team workspace, the same section is reached from Settings inside that workspace.
What Each Part Shows
Balance
Credits left this period, and what is held for work in progress.
Held credits are reserved for something that is currently running, such as an article being generated or an audit mid-crawl. They are not spent yet. If the work fails or you cancel it, they come back.
Activity
The last 90 days of credit charges, newest first. Each entry names the action, so you can see exactly what an article, a Content Boost, or a visibility run cost.
This is the fastest way to answer "where did my credits go this month". Estimating from the price list is guesswork by comparison, particularly once automations are running.
You can export the activity as a CSV.
Who Spent Credits
On team accounts only. Shows this month's charges per member, the per-member limits in force, and the default limit applied to new members.
Top Up
Buy a credit pack for an active plan. Packs last 12 months, do not change your plan, and are used after your plan credits.
The panel itself notes that a higher plan is usually cheaper than topping up every month, which is worth taking seriously if you find yourself buying packs regularly.
Automatic Top-Up
Buys a pack automatically when your credits fall below a threshold you set.
Notes
Plan credits and pack credits are shown as one balance but behave differently. Plan credits expire at the end of the billing period. Pack credits last 12 months. Plan credits are always spent first.
If a panel fails to load, the message tells you what is unaffected. A balance that will not load has not changed and no credits were spent. Activity that will not load has not lost your history. Use Try again rather than assuming something is wrong with your account.
Where to Find Prices
The credit price for every action is listed in the same area, so you can check what something costs before you run it rather than after.
