Set your Content Preferences
The Content tab sets your default content goals, publishing frequency, days and time, article length, writing style, and point of view. The Enhance tab sets which article enhancements are on by default.

These two tabs set the defaults every new article starts from. Getting them right means the wizard is something you review rather than configure.
Open Sidebar β Brand Profile. Changes autosave.
Content Tab
Labelled Content, described as "Length, tone, and cadence".
Content Goals
What your content is for:
- Drive organic SEO traffic
- Generate inbound leads
- Build brand authority
- Support local SEO
- Educate customers
This shapes emphasis. Lead generation leans towards the reader's problem and your solution with a stronger call to action. Brand authority favours depth and evidence.
Publishing Frequency, Days, and Time
Publishing frequency is how often you plan to publish: once a week, twice a week, weekdays, or daily.
Publishing days appear once you pick a frequency, as weekday chips from Mon to Sun. One day for once a week, two for twice a week.
Publishing time is when NarraSEO should schedule new posts.
These drive the Content Calendar and Autoblog. Set a cadence you will actually sustain rather than an ambitious one, since the calendar fills against it and articles cost credits.
Preferred Article Types
Your default length:
Standard is the sensible default. Choose In-depth or Pillar as a default only if your topics genuinely warrant that length every time, because padding is obvious to read.
Preferred Writing Style
Professional, conversational, friendly, authoritative, educational, persuasive, storytelling, or journalistic.
Point of View
- First person. I, me, mine, we, us, our.
- Second person. You, your, yours.
- Third person. He, she, they, their.
Second person suits instructional content, which is most SEO content. First person suits opinion and case studies. Third person suits reporting.
Enhance Tab
Labelled Enhance, described as "Structure, CTAs, and SEO". This sets which enhancements are on by default for new articles.
Grouped into three sections:
Visuals. Cover Image, In-Article Images, Related Videos, Product visuals.
SEO & links. FAQs, Internal Links, External References.
Reader experience. Key Takeaways, Table of Contents, Tables & checklists, Call to Action, Author Byline.
Settings Behind the Toggles
Cover and in-article image source. Non-copyrighted stock from Unsplash or Pexels, or Narra AI Images. AI images add credits per article, so this toggle has a running cost.
Aspect ratio. 16:9 at 2048 Γ 1152 px, or 1:1 at 2048 Γ 2048 px.
Video source. YouTube or Pexels. With YouTube you can prefer your own channel by supplying its URL.
Preferred calls to action. Phrase and link pairs, with one set as the default button for new articles. Filling these in is what stops generated calls to action reading generically.
A Reasonable Default Set
Cover image, in-article images, FAQs, internal links, external references, key takeaways, and author byline.
Add table of contents if you mostly write long articles. Leave AI images off by default and turn them on per article, so routine posts stay at the lower credit cost.
Notes
Everything here is a default, not a lock. Every article can override any of it in the wizard.
Partner Link Exchange appears in the Enhance tab marked as coming soon. It is not available yet.
Author Byline needs a completed Author profile to have anything to append. It shows a "From profile" badge when the author profile is ready.
Publishing frequency in this tab and the frequency in the Content Calendar are the same setting.
