Change your Email or Password

Both are in Settings then Profile, under Sign-in. An email change sends a confirmation link to the new address. A password change asks for your current password, or you can reset it by email.

Last updated 1 day ago

Both live in Settings β†’ Profile, in the Sign-in panel.

Change your Email Address

  1. Select Settings, then Profile.
  2. Find Email and select Change.
  3. Enter the address in New email.
  4. Enter it again in Repeat email.
  5. Select Update email.
  6. Open the confirmation link sent to the new address.

The change takes effect when you confirm from the new address. Until then, keep signing in with your old one.

Use an address you can actually receive mail at. If you confirm a change to an address you cannot access, you will have locked yourself out of your own account.

Change your Password

  1. Select Settings, then Profile.
  2. Find Password and select Change.
  3. Enter your Current password.
  4. Enter your New password.
  5. Enter it again in Repeat new password.
  6. Select Update password.

If you Do Not Remember your Current Password

Under the password field is "Can't remember your current password?" with a link to Reset it by email. That sends a reset link so you can set a new password without knowing the old one.

If you Signed Up with Google

You may have no password at all, in which case the field shows Not set.

You can add one using Set password, which then gives you two ways to sign in. Or leave it unset and continue using Google.

Notes

Both changes affect your login everywhere, including every team workspace you belong to.

Changing your email address does not move your workspaces, projects, or documents. It is the same account with a different address.

Billing notifications go to your account email, so if you change it, invoices and payment notices follow.

Use a strong password you do not reuse elsewhere.

If the Confirmation Email Does Not Arrive

Check spam and promotions.

If it is genuinely missing, request the change again. The pending change does not block a fresh attempt.

If your organisation filters external mail, ask whoever manages it to allow our sending domain.

Two-factor authentication is in the Security panel on the same screen, and is worth turning on if you have access to billing.
