Which Writing Tool Should I Use?
Write Article gives you control over every decision. Quick Draft makes those decisions for you. Autoblog writes and publishes on a schedule without you present. All three cost 300 credits per article.

NarraSEO has three ways to produce an article. They use the same generation engine and cost the same. What differs is how many decisions you make yourself.
Credit figures are as of 2026-08-30.
The Short Answer
Add 200 credits to any of them for AI-generated images, making 500.
Write Article
Use it when the article matters.
You work through 10 steps: topic and markets, article type, research method, competitor selection, primary keyword, secondary keywords, title, writing setup, outline, and enhancements. You see and can change every decision before anything is written.
The outline step is the real reason to choose this flow. Being able to restructure an article before it is written, rather than after, is the difference between editing a draft and rewriting one.
Choose Write Article for pillar pages, commercial pages, anything competitive, and anything a customer or client will scrutinise.
Quick Draft
Use it when you want a solid article without making 10 decisions.
You give it a topic and, if you want, a primary keyword and up to 3 secondary keywords. You set article type, research method, length, tone, and enhancements on one page. Everything else, including the title, the competitor set, and the outline, is resolved for you during preparation.
The output is not lower quality. It is the same engine with fewer choices exposed, so you get less control over structure and headline.
Choose Quick Draft for supporting articles, routine posts, and topics where you do not have a strong opinion about the structure.
Autoblog
Use it when you want a steady publishing cadence without being involved each time.
You set a publishing frequency, choose which connected platforms to publish to, and give it keywords to work through. When a slot comes due, NarraSEO writes the article using the Quick Draft pipeline and can publish it to your site.
Autoblog lives inside the Content Calendar rather than being a separate sidebar item. Turning it on is free. Each article is charged when it is written.
Two things to understand before relying on it:
- Nobody reads the article before it goes out unless you configure it to publish as a draft. If your site is customer-facing and accuracy matters, publish as drafts and review them.
- It pauses when you run out of credits, and resumes once you have credits again.
Autoblogging is included on every paid plan. It is not available during a trial.
A Reasonable Starting Pattern
Most people settle into a mix rather than picking one:
- Write Article for the 2 or 3 pages a month that really matter.
- Quick Draft for everything else you write deliberately.
- Autoblog for volume on long-tail keywords, publishing as drafts until you trust the output.
What about the Article Editor?
All three land in the same writing workspace, where you can edit, use Ask Narra on a selection, run Content Boost, humanize the text, check for plagiarism, adjust the SEO metadata, and publish. Which tool wrote the article makes no difference to what you can do afterwards.
