Open and Navigate Settings

Settings opens from the top bar and has six sections: Profile, Members, Billing, Usage, Preferences, and Danger zone. Team workspaces have their own separate Settings.

Settings is not in the sidebar. You reach it from the top bar or from your profile menu.

Steps

  1. Select Settings in the top bar.
  2. Choose a section from the settings navigation.

The Sections

Profile

Your account. Avatar, name, email, password, and security.

Members

Account access. Invite people and choose which projects they can access. Also holds your workspace logo and name, and pending invitations.

Billing

Plan and payment. Subscription, payment method, and invoices. Extra projects and seats are added here too.

Usage

Credits and activity. Your credit balance, what is held for work in progress, an activity feed, credit packs, and automatic top-up.

Note that credit information lives in Usage rather than Billing. Billing is about your subscription, Usage is about credits.

Preferences

Appearance, language, and notification preferences.

Danger Zone

Account actions that need extra confirmation, including deleting your account.

Personal and Team Settings are Separate

If you belong to a team workspace, that workspace has its own Settings, with its own members, billing, and usage.

Switch to the workspace first using the account switcher, then open Settings. Changing something in your personal Settings does not change it for the team.

This is the most common source of confusion when a setting appears not to have applied. Check which workspace you were in.

What you Can See Depends on your Role

Owners see everything. Members do not see billing controls, and cannot change roles or remove people.

There is a separate article on roles and permissions.

Notes

Settings sections are reachable directly by URL, so you can bookmark the one you use most.

Some sections show a message when a feature is not available on your plan or in your environment rather than hiding it silently.
