Find your Way around the Writing Workspace
The writing workspace is the editor in the centre and a panel on the right with five tabs: Guidelines, SEO, Facts, Outline, and Brief. Content Score sits at the top of the panel, with Content Boost, Humanize, and Plagiarism beneath it.

The writing workspace is where an article lands once it has been generated, and where you spend your editing time. It is the same screen whether the article came from Write Article, Quick Draft, or Autoblog.
The Layout
Centre: the editor. Your article, editable directly. There is no separate editor tab, because the editor is always the main canvas.
Right: the panel. Your Content Score, the optimization tools, and five tabs of guidance.
Top: the title bar. Navigation and the article-level actions.
The Title Bar
A Documents link takes you back to your document list.
On the right:
While something is running, the title bar shows the state instead: Writing, Thinking, Researching, Preparing media, Content Boost, Humanize, Plagiarism, or Regenerating.
Autosave
Your work saves as you go. The status reads "Saved just now", "Saved 3m ago", "Saving…", "Unsaved changes", "Save failed", or "Not saved yet".
"Save failed" is worth acting on. Use Save to retry rather than assuming it will resolve itself.
The Right Panel
Content Score
At the top, out of 100, with a label: Excellent at 80 and above, Good from 65, Fair from 45, and Needs work below that.
Its tooltip explains the basis: "Combines SEO, GEO, and E-E-A-T trust signals. Updates as you edit."
Avg and Top markers show how you compare against benchmarks.
The Optimization Tools
Directly beneath the score:
- Content Boost, which closes keyword, GEO, and E-E-A-T gaps.
- Humanize, which softens stiff wording.
- Plagiarism, which checks for open-web overlap.
Each has its own article. All three cost credits, and the checks are free to run before you commit.
The Five Tabs
Guidelines has three sub-sections of its own: Keywords, GEO, and E-E-A-T.
The Editor Toolbar
Formatting on the left, and three labelled buttons on the right:
- Meta tags, which opens the SEO tab.
- Block labels, which shows what each block is.
- Ask Narra, which opens the AI editing panel.
Formatting covers text style from Body through H1 to H6, bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, alignment, bullet and numbered lists, text and highlight colour, indent and outdent, clear formatting, image, video, link, table, undo, and redo.
Selecting Text
Highlighting text brings up a toolbar with inline formatting, link controls, Ask Narra, and two quick actions: Rephrase and Expand on this.
This is the fastest route to a targeted change.
What Updates Live
The Content Score recalculates as you edit. It pauses while generation, media hydration, Content Boost, Humanize, or Plagiarism are running, and resumes afterwards.
During generation you will see "Live scores refresh as each paragraph completes."
Notes
You do not have to use the panel at all. The article is publishable as generated, and the panel exists for when you want to improve it.
Editing by hand costs nothing. Only the AI tools cost credits.
There is no slash command menu. Ask Narra is reached from the toolbar or from a text selection.
Where to Start on a New Draft
- Read it. Nothing else is a substitute.
- Check the SEO tab. Meta title and description are what people see in search results.
- Look at the Content Score breakdown if the score is below Good, to see which part is weak.
- Fix specifics with Ask Narra or by editing directly.
- Consider Content Boost if several gaps remain and you would rather not close them by hand.
