Write a Quick Draft
Quick Draft produces an article from a single page of settings. You give it a topic, and it resolves the title, competitor set, and outline for you. It costs the same 300 credits as Write Article.

Quick Draft is the fast route to an article. Everything sits on one page, and the decisions you would make in the Write Article wizard are made for you.
Find it at Sidebar β Create β Quick Draft.
Credit figures are as of 2026-08-30.
What it Decides for You
- The title, resolved during preparation
- The competitor set, taken from your Brand Profile and live search results
- The outline, generated server-side with no editing step
You do not see or approve these before writing starts. That is the trade: fewer decisions, less control.
Steps
- Go to
Sidebar β Create β Quick Draft. - Enter your topic, up to 500 characters. Set target countries and language if the defaults are wrong.
- Optionally add a primary keyword, up to 255 characters. Keyword research runs automatically when you move on from the field. You can also pick one from your saved keyword lists.
- Optionally add up to 3 secondary keywords.
- Choose an article type from the same 12 options as Write Article.
- Choose a research method, with the same four options and the same upload limits.
- Choose an article length: Short, Standard, In-depth, or Pillar.
- Choose a writing tone.
- Review the enhancements. Suggested ones are pre-selected from your Brand Profile.
- Select generate. The cost is shown first.
A progress list down the side shows which sections are complete: topic and markets, keywords, structure and research, writing setup, and enhancements.
What it Costs
300 credits, or 500 with AI-generated images. Exactly the same as Write Article, because it is the same engine.
When to Use it Instead of Write Article
Use Quick Draft when you do not have a strong opinion about the structure or the headline. Supporting articles, routine posts, and topics where you trust the research to shape the piece.
Use Write Article when the page matters: pillar content, commercial pages, competitive topics, or anything a client will read closely. The outline step is the reason, because restructuring a finished article is far more work than editing headings beforehand.
Notes
Output quality is not lower. It is the same generation pipeline with fewer choices exposed.
Your work is saved as you type, and you can resume an unfinished Quick Draft later.
If you arrived from Keyword Research, Topic Clusters, or a Content Calendar item, the topic and keywords are already filled in. Check them before generating.
Generation continues if you close the tab. The article appears in Documents when it is done.
After it Generates
You land in the same writing workspace as any other article, with the same tools: Ask Narra, Content Boost, humanize, plagiarism check, SEO metadata, and publishing.
If the title or structure is not what you wanted, you can edit both in the workspace. For articles where you expect to care, starting in Write Article is less work than fixing afterwards.
