Change your Theme, Language, and Notifications

Settings then Preferences controls light and dark mode, and which events notify you in-app and by email. Usage alerts fire at 80 percent of your plan credits and when you run out.

All of this is in Settings β†’ Preferences.

Notifications and Alerts

What it covers

Team invites

In-app when someone invites you

Publish failures

When a CMS publish fails

Generation complete

When a long article generation finishes

Billing events

Trial emails, goodwill credits, and failed payments

Two Worth Leaving On

Publish failures. A failed publish is silent otherwise. You will believe an article is live when it is not, which is the sort of thing you find out weeks later.

Generation complete. Since you can close the tab during generation, this is how you find out it finished.

Invitation Emails Always Send

Regardless of your preferences, invitation emails go out, so that people you invite can actually join. The interface notes this as always on.

Usage Alerts

Alerts at 80% of this period's plan credits, and when credits run out.

  • In-app usage alerts cover near-limit, exhaustion, and automatic top-up failures.
  • Also email usage alerts sends the same alerts to your account email.

Worth turning email on if you rely on Autoblog or scheduled work, because running out of credits pauses it and the in-app alert only helps if you are looking.

The automatic top-up failure alert is the important one. It is how you learn that a card problem has quietly stopped your top-ups.

Language

The app is currently available in English.

Notes

Preferences are per person, not per workspace. Your theme and notification choices follow you into every workspace you belong to.

If notification preferences fail to save you will see "Couldn't save notification preferences. Try again." Nothing has changed when that happens.

Theme switching can be turned off in some environments, in which case the controls explain that rather than failing quietly.
