Invite People to your Workspace

Invite from Settings then Members. Every invite needs access to at least one project, and you can set a monthly credit limit for each person. Invitation emails always send.

Inviting someone gives them access to a team workspace, specific projects within it, and a share of the account's credits.

Seat allowances are as of 2026-08-30.

Before you Start

You need a team workspace. Personal workspaces are for one person. If you are working alone in a personal workspace, create a team workspace first.

You need at least one project. Every invite requires project access, so if you have no projects you will see "Create a project before inviting someone. Every invite needs project access."

You need seats on your plan. Starter is a single seat, Creator covers 5, Pro covers 20, and Agency and Scale do not cap seats. Extra seats can be added for $15 a month each.

You need to be the owner. Members cannot invite people to projects, manage roles, or remove people.

Steps

  1. Switch to the team workspace using the account switcher.
  2. Select Settings, then Members.
  3. Select Invite member.
  4. Enter the person's email address.
  5. Choose their role.
  6. Choose which projects they can access. At least one is required.
  7. Optionally set a Monthly credit limit for them.
  8. Send the invitation.

The invitation appears under pending invitations until it is accepted. Invitation emails always send, regardless of notification preferences, so the person can actually join.

What the Person Does

They open the link in the email and either sign in, or create an account if they do not have one.

Tell them to use the invitation link rather than signing up separately. Signing up from scratch creates an unconnected personal account, and they will not see your team's projects. This is the most common thing that goes wrong.

Project Access

You choose which projects each person can open. Someone with access to one project out of five sees only that project's documents, brand profile, integrations, and measurement data.

You can only invite people to projects you can access yourself.

Access can be changed later from the same screen.

Monthly Credit Limits

A limit caps how much of the shared credit pool one person can spend in a month.

Worth knowing:

  • Owners are never limited.
  • A per-member limit always wins over the account default.
  • New members inherit the default until you set a personal limit for them.
  • Limits cap spend, they do not reserve credits. Setting someone a 2,000 credit limit does not set 2,000 credits aside for them. If the account balance is empty, their limit is irrelevant.

Set a default for new members in Settings β†’ Usage, under the team spend section.

Notes

Credits belong to the account, not the person. Everyone spends from the same balance.

If you see "This plan is at its member limit", you have used your seats. Either move up a plan, add seats, or cancel a pending invite you no longer need.

Pending invites count against your seat allowance.

If Someone Did Not Get Their Invitation

Ask them to check spam and promotions first. If it is genuinely missing, cancel the invite and send it again from the same screen.

There is a dedicated troubleshooting article for this.
