Choose Article Enhancements
Step 10 of Write Article. Turn on cover and in-article images, related videos, FAQs, internal links, external references, key takeaways, a table of contents, tables, a call to action, and an author byline.

Step 10, titled Enhance your article, is where you choose what gets added alongside the writing. Suggested options are pre-selected based on your Brand Profile, so you can review rather than build the list from scratch.
Credit figures are as of 2026-08-30.
Visuals
Cover Image
Featured image at the top for thumbnails and social previews.
Choose a source:
- Non-copyrighted. Unsplash or Pexels photo. No credit cost.
- Narra AI Images. A generated featured image. Adds 100 credits.
You can also set the aspect ratio, either 16:9 or 1:1.
In-Article Images
Images throughout the draft where visuals help readers scan. Same two source options.
Turning on AI images for both cover and in-article brings the article to 500 credits in total, rather than 300.
Related Videos
Relevant video embeds for tutorials, walkthroughs, or extra context.
Source is YouTube or Pexels. With YouTube you can choose Any channel, which searches across YouTube, or Preferred channel, where you supply a channel URL and your own videos are favoured. The preferred channel option is worth using if you publish video yourself.
Product Visuals
Uses a capture of your website, placed only in call to action, next steps, or about-brand sections. You can include your brand logo.
SEO and Links
Faqs
At least five questions and answers based on the topic and common reader concerns.
Worth turning on for most articles. It captures long-tail queries and answers objections, and question-and-answer text is the format AI assistants most readily quote.
Internal Links
Relevant pages from your own website inside the article.
This works from your sitemap and your URL Library. If your internal links come back thin or irrelevant, the URL Library is where to fix it.
Internal link suggestions do not cost credits.
External References
Trusted external sources for claims, statistics, or explanations. Builds credibility and signals trust.
Reader Experience
Key Takeaways
A short summary of the most important points, for people who skim. Also makes the article easier for search engines and AI answers to extract from.
Table of Contents
Jump links to each main section. Useful on In-depth and Pillar length articles, unnecessary on Short ones.
Tables & Checklists
Comparison tables, spec grids, and scannable checklists where they clarify the topic. Particularly effective on versus articles and product reviews.
Call to Action
An end-of-article button card using your brand colours, font, and preferred phrases. The calls to action come from your Brand Profile, and you select which is primary.
If this comes out generic, add specific calls to action to your Brand Profile rather than editing every article afterwards.
Author Byline
Appends a verified author bio from your Brand Profile.
Worth turning on if you have filled in the author profile. It supports experience and expertise signals and tells readers who wrote the article. Without an author profile filled in, there is nothing to append.
What is Always On
Some things are not switches because they always run: your Brand Profile, your sitemap, competitor analysis, SEO rules, fact checking, and anti-hallucination review. You do not need to look for them.
A Reasonable Default Set
For a typical article: cover image, in-article images, FAQs, internal links, external references, key takeaways, and author byline. Add a table of contents on longer pieces, and tables on comparisons.
Turn on AI images when the visual matters, such as a page you will promote. Use non-copyrighted stock for routine posts and keep the article at 300 credits.
Notes
Suggested options are pre-selected from your Brand Profile, and the wizard explains why each one is suggested.
Enhancements can be added after generation too. Content Boost can fill gaps, and you can insert images, video, links, and tables directly in the editor.
Partner Link Exchange appears in this step marked as coming soon. It is not available yet, and selecting it does nothing.
Then Generate
The footer shows the credit cost. Select Generate article when you are ready.
