Sign-In Methods

You can sign in with an email address and password, or with Google. Both can be attached to the same account from the Security panel in Settings then Profile.

There are two ways into NarraSEO.

Email and Password

You choose a password when you sign up, and confirm your email address before your first sign-in.

Google

Sign in with your Google account. No password to remember, and no email confirmation step, because Google has already verified the address.

Connecting Both to One Account

You do not have to choose permanently. Both methods can be attached to the same account, and either will then sign you in.

Find this in Settings → Profile, in the Security panel, under Connected accounts. It lists the sign-in methods on your account, showing the method, its details, and whether it is connected.

Why Connect Both

If you signed up with Google and later lose access to that Google account, a password gives you a second way in. If you signed up with a password, Google is a faster daily route.

To add a password to a Google-created account, use Set password in the Sign-in panel. The password field shows Not set when you do not have one.

Notes

Whichever method you use, it is the same account. Your workspaces, projects, and documents do not depend on how you signed in.

Sign in with the same method you used to sign up, or connect the other one first. Using Google with an address that has a password account does not automatically merge them unless the methods are linked.

An anti-spam check may appear during sign-up and sign-in. It is automatic and needs no action from you in most cases.

If Connected accounts shows "No other sign-in methods to connect right now", there is nothing further to add on your account.

If you Cannot Sign In

With a password: use the password reset link on the sign-in page.

With Google: confirm you are choosing the right Google account. Signing in with a different Google address creates or opens a different NarraSEO account.

Newly signed up: confirm your email address first. The confirmation link is what activates a password account.

Invited to a team: use the invitation link from your email. Signing up separately creates an unconnected personal account without your team's projects.

Two-factor authentication adds an authenticator app on top of either method, and is in the same Security panel.
