Projects and Brand Profile

The Author tab holds the name, job title, bio, expertise areas, and verification links your articles are attributed to. It powers bylines and contributes to the E-E-A-T part of your Content Score.

Add an Author Profile

Add up to five competitor websites in the Audience tab, plus a note on what makes you different. They are used to differentiate your content, and NarraSEO never mentions or endorses them in your articles.

A project is one website. It holds its own Brand Profile, integrations, documents, keywords, and measurement data, and switching projects switches all of that at once.

How Projects Work

The Content tab sets your default content goals, publishing frequency, days and time, article length, writing style, and point of view. The Enhance tab sets which article enhancements are on by default.

Sign up with an email address and password, or with your Google account. You then confirm your email address before you can sign in.

Open Ask Narra from the editor toolbar or by selecting text, then give it an instruction. Quick edits cost 25 credits, research-backed edits 150, and large edits 300, held until the edit is delivered.

The plagiarism check is free and reports an Originality score with the matching sources it found on the open web. Rewriting the overlapping phrasing costs 100 credits, charged when the rewrite is generated.

The SEO tab holds a SERP Preview, your meta title with a 60 character limit, your meta description with a 160 character limit, and the JSON-LD schema. Regenerate meta rewrites both fields from the article.

The writing workspace is the editor in the centre and a panel on the right with five tabs: Guidelines, SEO, Facts, Outline, and Brief. Content Score sits at the top of the panel, with Content Boost, Humanize, and Plagiarism beneath it.

Edit the article directly in the centre of the workspace. The toolbar covers headings from H1 to H6, bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, alignment, lists, colour, indent, links, images, video, tables, and undo.

Use Insert image and Insert video in the toolbar. Images can come from Unsplash, Pexels, your own upload, or Narra AI Images, which costs 100 credits per image. Stock and uploads cost nothing.

Content Boost closes keyword, GEO, and E-E-A-T gaps for 100 credits. You are only charged when your draft actually changes, and undo restores the previous draft without returning the credits.

Humanize scans your draft for a Naturalness score at no credit cost, then rewrites stiff body paragraphs and lists for 50 credits. The rewrite is charged when it is generated, and you review it before applying.

The Links section under Guidelines lists every link in the draft, filterable by All, Internal, and External. It is a navigator for checking links, not a link builder, so add and remove links in the editor itself.

Share in the title bar opens Share this article, where you copy the article link and choose between Workspace only and Anyone with the link. The public option gives read only access without a NarraSEO account.

Content Score is out of 100 and combines SEO, GEO, and E-E-A-T signals, broken down into SEO, GEO, E-E-A-T, Structure, Terms, and Draft. It updates as you edit and is guidance rather than a ranking prediction.

Autoblog drafts articles near their publish time and posts them to your connected platforms on a schedule. Turning it on is free, each article is charged when written, and it pauses itself when credits run out.

Topic Clusters generates a three level map of pillars, clusters, and article-ready topics from your Brand Profile for 50 credits. You can edit every level and start an article from any topic.

Open Integrations, choose Google Analytics 4, select Connect with Google, approve every permission checkbox, then pick your property and select Save and sync. NarraSEO only needs read access.

Select Run first audit or Run audit on the Site Audit page. Each page crawled costs 1 credit, one audit covers up to 100 pages, and Manage pages lets you choose which pages are included.

Use Add prompt or Manage prompts to build your prompt set, flag the ones worth rechecking, and turn on Auto-refresh monthly. Prompt status is Visible, Not visible, Partially visible, or Needs review.

AI Visibility checks whether AI assistants mention and cite your site for prompts you choose, across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, and Claude. Each check costs 10 credits per prompt per platform.

Performance combines Google Search Console and Google Analytics into one view, with Overview, Search Console, and Google Analytics tabs. Search Console data lags about three days and Analytics about one day.

Publishing and integrations

Connect your platform

Enter your store hash, then select Connect BigCommerce and approve publishing. Start the connection from NarraSEO rather than from the BigCommerce control panel, or the install will not link correctly.

Brilliant Directories needs your site URL, an API key generated in the Developer Hub, and the numeric member user ID that should own published posts. API keys are shown only once.

Contentful needs a Space ID, an optional environment which defaults to master, and a CMA personal access token. Your content type needs title and slug fields plus a Long text body field, because Rich Text is not supported yet.

Drupal needs your site URL and the username and password of an account allowed to create article content. Enable the JSON:API and HTTP Basic Authentication modules first and allow write operations.

Duda has two routes. The recommended one is an RSS feed, where you generate a key in NarraSEO and paste the feed URL into Duda. The optional Partner API route needs a site name, API username, and API password.

Framer needs your project URL or ID, a CMS collection ID, and a server API key from Site settings. The collection must have a Title field and a rich text Content field.

Ghost needs your site URL and an Admin API key from a custom integration created under Settings, Advanced, Integrations. It must be the Admin API key, not the Content API key.

GoHighLevel needs a Location ID from Settings Business Profile, the Blog ID of your target blog, and a private integration token created with the blogs read and write scopes.

Joomla needs your site URL and an API token. Enable the Web Services Content and API Authentication Token plugins first, then copy the token from the Joomla API Token tab in your user profile.

Enter your store name without the domain, since NarraSEO adds myshopify.com, then select Connect Shopify and install the app. You need at least one blog in Shopify first, and you choose which blog receives posts afterwards.

Webflow needs a Site ID, a Collection ID, and a site API token with CMS read and write access. Your blog collection must have Name, Slug, and a rich text field with the slug post-body.

Wix is a single button. Select Connect Wix, approve NarraSEO to create and publish blog posts, and you are done. There are no credentials to copy and no fields to fill in.

WordPress connects with your site URL, your WordPress username, and an application password created under Users, Profile, Application Passwords. The NarraSEO Bridge plugin is recommended for SEO metadata sync.

The Next.js Blog integration is an npm package. Install @narraseo/next-blog, scaffold a blog route, add your project API credentials, and optionally add webhook revalidation. Requires Creator or above.

Add an HTTPS webhook URL under Developer and select Connect webhook, then use Test ping to confirm it works. Your endpoint must return a 2xx response within a few seconds. Requires Creator or above.

Generate an API key from the API integration under Developer. The key is shown once and cannot be retrieved later. Requires Creator or above, which includes 25,000 API requests a month.

Use the NarraSEO API

Open Integrations at the bottom of the sidebar, find your platform under Publishing & CMS, and follow its guide. Credential-based platforms have a Verify connection button you should use before publishing.

Open Publish in the writing workspace and switch to the Download tab, then choose Doc, PDF, HTML, or Markdown. This is the route to use when your platform has no integration or somebody else publishes for you.

Connect your platform once in Integrations, then use Publish in the writing workspace to send an article to it as a draft, published post, or scheduled post. You can also download a copy as Doc, PDF, HTML, or Markdown.

How Publishing Works

Select Publish in the writing workspace, choose your destination on the To your site tab, set the status, adjust the featured image and title options, then send it. Publishing does not cost credits.

Draft sends the article to your CMS unpublished, Scheduled sets a future date on your platform, and Published makes it live immediately. Your Documents list shows Draft on site, Scheduled, or Published once it has been sent.

What Each Publish Status Means

Workspace and team

Invite from Settings then Members. Every invite needs access to at least one project, and you can set a monthly credit limit for each person. Invitation emails always send.

The URL library holds your site pages so NarraSEO can suggest internal links. Add a URL with its title, primary keyword, and page type, and mark pillar pages to prioritise them.

Settings opens from the top bar and has six sections: Profile, Members, Billing, Usage, Preferences, and Danger zone. Team workspaces have their own separate Settings.

Each member gets access to specific projects and an optional monthly credit limit. Limits cap what someone can spend from the shared pool, they do not reserve credits, and owners are never limited.

There are two roles. Owners control billing, members, and roles. Members can change workspace settings and send invites, but cannot touch billing, change roles, or remove people.

Settings then Preferences controls light and dark mode, and which events notify you in-app and by email. Usage alerts fire at 80 percent of your plan credits and when you run out.

Automatic top-up buys a credit pack for you when your balance falls below a threshold you set, so scheduled work like Autoblog does not pause when you run out.

Packs are one-off credit purchases from 500 credits for 10 dollars up to 20,000 for 310 dollars. They last 12 months, do not change your plan, and are spent after your plan credits.

Change plan or cancel from Settings then Billing, through the billing portal. Cancelling keeps your access until the end of the period you have paid for, and your content stays in your account.

Settings then Usage shows your credit balance, what is held for work in progress, an activity feed of the last 90 days, and on team accounts a breakdown of who spent what.

Plans run from Starter at 59 dollars a month with 5,000 credits and 1 project, to Scale at 749 dollars with 80,000 credits and 40 projects. Credits, project count, and seats are what actually differ.

Credits are the single currency for AI work in NarraSEO. Your plan grants a monthly amount, work is priced at a fixed rate before you commit, and plan credits expire at the end of each billing period.

Settings then Billing opens the billing portal, where you can change the card on file, update your billing address and tax details, and download every past invoice.

A complete credit price list. An article is 300 credits, or 500 with AI images. AI Visibility is 10 credits per question per platform. Site audits are 1 credit per page. Research and the checks attached to an article are included.

What Each Action Costs

On day 8 your card is charged for the plan you chose and your credit allowance changes from 1,000 trial credits to that plan's monthly amount. You are emailed about 3 days beforehand with the amount and date.

What Happens when your Trial Ends

Account and security

Both are in Settings then Profile, under Sign-in. An email change sends a confirmation link to the new address. A password change asks for your current password, or you can reset it by email.

Deletion is requested from the Danger zone in Settings and is scheduled 14 days ahead. You can cancel any time during those 14 days. After the date passes, it is permanent.

You can sign in with an email address and password, or with Google. Both can be attached to the same account from the Security panel in Settings then Profile.
